For. It is always a good thing to help out. It is nice sometimes to just feel good about helping people. You are doing your part to give back and not take.

not at all. especially if it is volunteering for something you like doing.

Definitely everyone should volunteer. The state should force people to volunteer heeeh!

Anyways...

Arguments for:

-to help your community

-to feel good (it's personal therapy!)

-to gain experience (for a job, for life, whatever)

-some work requires volunteering

-great way to induce good character

-many of them provide parties, food, fun days

Arguments against:

-don't have a lot of time, and time is money

-i don't get paid for it!

-it's dealing with people, some people don't like that

Really, the pros outweigh the cons.

People who do something for intrinsic rewards, rather than just financial rewards, feel great satisfaction.

Contributing to society makes one truly feel like they are a part of society.
