  7. No, in fact I like to go outside when there's a storm.

"I awoke last night to the sound of thunder

How far off I sat and wondered

Started humming a song from 1962

Ain't it funny how the night moves

When you just don't seem to have as much to lose

    Strange how the night moves

    With autumn closing in."

  8. Not necessarily by thunder unless the storm is very near with lots of lightning. I hate that because it makes me jump out of my wits. I usually go to a cubby hole where there are no windows and the sound is muffled, and wait for it to end. We have a lot of tornadoes in our area, so I always get out a flashlight and weather band radio to hear what is happening in case the lights go out.

  9. No, It's just a sound, it can't hurt you. If you are asking about being scared by sound being very sudden and unexpected, then it's sometimes scary when you are doing something quiet like reading and you suddenly hear a boom.

  11. ~~No I love any kind of weather and thunder and lightening totally energize me.  I guess it may have something to do with living in a very weather deprived area in So. CA. All it ever is , is warm, hot, or blazing hot!~~

Yes if it's very loud and at 3 AM in the morning when I'm dead asleep.

No if it's rolling thunder, the relaxing type off it the distance, and if I know it's coming at night. I love thunder at night if I'm expecting it.
