  1. Not really, it's still rare for that to happen where I'm from.

  2. Yes, some children won't stop drinking or stay off drugs. It's not always the parents fault as people say. Addiction is everywhere. Child molesters are everywhere. Yes, I'm glad my children are grown but the mistakes they make growing up are very hard.

  3. I'm not denise :| And stab proof vest ftw?

  4. yes all of that and also your new name

  5. I'm 16, but yes.

    It's scary :S

  6. no, sod them all

  7. Absolutely - not just the violence. The new generation will never be able to afford a life as good as previous generations (and the last couple of generations haven't exactly had it easy).

Where on Earth will the money come from to pay for pensions and health care?

  8. Yes. My three are all adults now but you never stop worrying and fortunately don't do the pub scene.  I would hate to be bringing little ones up now though and dread to think what it will be like for them. I think the majority of people do care and are decent, its just the minority who have never been taught how to live and let live...

Nite Ms S and I'm pleased you changed from 'virile' to contented..:)

  9. No, I'm just worried that people are turning their kids into a bunch of wussies.

  10. See 2/3 of my questions a few days ago

    Must go

  11. Yes, I am worried. I do not have kids myself and to be honest wouldn't want to bring up a child in this day and age.

  12. i confess that i am, and seeing how many young are dying on our streets its time someone took drastic action. The government could do it but they are a spineless bunch and rather see more lives lost than get off their fat backsides and run the country.

  13. I'm more worried they're going to grow up living in a world where these questions never get answered ...

  14. there is a big difference between "the young" from today and 40 years ago in some parts of the world.

Europe is turning into a third world country in a very fast way.

  15. DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE.

FEAR IS A FORM OF CONTROL.

THE MEDIA ARE ALL ABOUT FEAR.

  16. Kids now are just OK. They will adapt just as people always do. We were no angels when I was young. We should be more positive and optimistic about the young.

  17. Nothing new under the sun.

What you forget is people like that old granny down your way, did all the things we did. all the things the youngsters will do,  and worse :-)

    theres nothing new in society,

Nothing changes. except we hear so much more quickly and from a wider area.

  18. i'm 15. i'm not scared of the things you mentioned. in those i can protect myself... hang out with the right people, don't drink... whatever: i have a choice. i can lower my risk. what i'm scared of is nukes... i don't really want to be fried... and i have no control over some russian getting trigger happy.

but really. other generations had it worse right? vietnam? the world wars?

we'll get through this. we've gotta toughen up.

  19. yes, i am frightened for the young now growing up.

  20. Yes,but not for the same reasons as you. Everything you talk about is true and Terrifying! Have you thought about the " Living h**l" that we are leaving for our children to Roast in? Global Warming is Real! I am 56 years old and I can personally tell you that the Weather has been going through a Tremendous Change for the worse where I live. Not to mention that when I was a Child, we never had Bottled Water unless we poured it into the Bottle ourselves when we were going to the Beach. Now our Natural Water Supply is so bad that I Have to buy Bottled Water HERE IN THE USA! Think about that! No water, No Life! If you think things are bad Now, just give another 30 years and see your children Dying of Thirst in the Desert that Used to be where you live.

  21. No. They'll survive.
