A)because its been going on for years!!

B) if you see a stabbing incident & report it the police they don't bother to come out

C) media making things ten times worse?

I agree. All these ideas the do gooders come up with are useless. If I was in hospital having been stabbed a couple of days before, I wouldnt want some little git looking at my wounds. If someone was to start a political party up that brought back capital punishment I know it would recieve a tremendous following. How about it someone?

How right you are, we should be talking about Apple peeler attacks.  Did you know that 1 out of 87 apple peelers will die from an attack.  We must stop this maddness

it may have but i don't suppose the parents of the children that have died feel that way. Media are just reporting what is going on, that is their job.

I agree with all of your points wholeheartedly and would like to add,

D) the more it is reported the more teens will carry knives through fear and a misguided need to 'protect themselves'

If that's the case teddy what about all the kids stabbed/shot/beaten to death last year the media didn't bother with because they were focussing on another topical issue?
