Are you getting tired of the long tennis seasons in last few years?

Don't you feel there are just too many tournaments being played these days? I mean it's really hard to expect a player to carry through the seasons without getting injured (many players) or losing his touch (Roger, Andy Roddick, Davydenko etc.).

  1. I agree.  It would be nice if tennis had a two-three month offseason for the players to either rest, work on their games more specifically, or put on some serious muscle.

  2. Are we getting tired of the long season the players go through ?Especially if you are Nadal, Federer, Djokovic, just to name the few, it's has been grueling, getting tougher every year, Beijing's on top of their already loaded schedules this year. The three: Nadal, Federer, and Djokovic were appointed to look into ATP schedule earlier this year, but I have not heard or mentioned of it yet. I'm sure they are too busy playing. We'll see after the US Open, if there will be changes made. This is why we see more injury outs lately.

  3. I'm not getting tired of watching, but I'm sure the players are tired of playing longer. I'm certainly tired as well, we've been recieving many invites to play other schools and in a few more tournaments almost every year at school now, and at the moment I'm already exhausted, only having play 3 long grueling matches last thursday. Hopefully they can figure something out. It might not be the best for tp players to compete in every single tournament, but it wouldnt hurt lower ranked players looking to rise through the rankings. Buuut they dont ahve to play in certain tournaments if they dont want

To Alex: Off season is a month off for all players in December..

  4. How could I get tired of the long season, I don't play pro tennis.

The pros are supposed to like what they're doing. If they are tired, they can skip certain events.
