Are you glad where you live in the world?

Question

today i read that a us milatery leader called on the usa to cut emsions on cars and other fuels and to cut house hold waste for fears that global warming will bring the usa fighting for water and other countries fighting for resourses. i am glad i live in the uk we have so much water its untrue. and lots of natural resourses. now arnt we glad maggie stopped us coal mineing.

i'm happy where i live and to be honest i wouldn't go away in uk and usa only if the payment would be better...my country is extremely beautyful..i love it here

Being in one of the countries to be "liberated" by the US in the future I can say its just more fear driven propaganda.

Besides, there are far worse things that can happen -- like Democracy in the USA.

I live in Australia and yes I am very happy with the country of my birth, Australia is also rich in natural resources. We are going through a water crises though, but I really do hope they find environmental friendly ways with desalinization rather than using bores and other alternatives.

The UK is great too, but wouldn't live their for quids.

I'm in Canada and it's great here.  We've got a massive oil boom in my province, and despite cost of living increases, most people are reaping the financial benefits.  

plenty to do in our clean, safe cities, plenty of wilderness to explore.  my only fear is that the US will invade us for resources if push comes to shove.

not really...I mean the usa is a great country but I agree with you, the UK would be great to live in.   I don't think I will get to see your country any time soon but one day hopefully I will.
