I am using and making cloth bags to use when shopping.  I turn off lights when not in use, and unplug appliances when not in use.  

I wait until the big trash can outside is completely full to take it curbside.  I don't want the truck to idle out front wasting gas when the can is only half full.  

Little things make a big difference.

I dont worry about the environment. I leave all of my lights, tv, radio, and computer on 24 hours a day.

I am reading the book Big Green Purse!  It is faboulous!  I think that the author is brilliant for providing so much information in one spot.  I have made way too many changes to list all of them here.  That I have answered this same question already.

yes i try to. i always recycled when i could, and recycle paper and things that can be recycled. im like the only one inb my family that eally cares. and im the youngest one!! i turn off the lights when they are not in use and unplug things like my hair straightner and ipod charger when they are not in use. i tell people to put paper and plastics in the recycle bin too.
