  1. no.

  2. Yup, I'm trying. God created the earth and he put man to take care of it and thats what were doing!

Although I am not 100% green.....not yet. I am only turning off the lights when I am not using them, I use the energy saving light bulb. I recycle paper. The simple/regular,free, ways to go green! I am trying!

  3. no, sorry, my favorite color is burgundy

  4. I go green when ever I hear Al Gore or some Hollywood celebrity spout off about global warming.  Then I vomit and I'm fine again.

  5. I'm no tree hugger, but now that I have  a kid, I realize more than ever how much we are consuming, and how much we are tearing apart our home. If changing a lightbulb brand, starting a compost heap and not letting the water run while I brush my teeth can help, why not do it? There are lots of little things we can do that are of no inconvenience. The compost heap I started reduced my trash output by about 4 gallons a week, wich is less trashbags, which is less plastic. I also purchased those reusable grocery bags, imagine if everyone used those, no more bags on electirc lines and landfills!

  8. I think that in ways that matter, yes.  We have a Honda Insight, bought it used in '03.

It was the first hybrid, gets aound 54 mpg in town.  Best tank was 71 mpg.  Our other car is an Acura SUV, super-low emission vehicle with a real time gauge of your mileage. It doesn't get the best mileage, but it's clean and the gauge let's me know how my driving is effecting the effiiciency of the vehicle.  All cars should have that.

My house and my rentals have new windows and have been weather-proofed including more insulation.  That has been important.

I grow some of my own food.  I have been vegetarian since1970. I reuse or recycle everything I can.  I made a particular effort at this in the late '80's.  I was subscribed to a magazine called "Garbage" about trecyling. Unfortunately, much of what I had carefully packed into large feed bags, was not taken by our recycler here in western Montana then!

But, some would say I am not green at all, as I am a Bush Republican.  Truer than true, and have raised two vegan daughters who believe in gun rights!

I got in trouble on the first Earth Day as our school let us go clean up on our own.  I pulled old tires and large debris out of the woods along the road back in New York where I lived then!  It was OK when people couldn't see all that junk, once it was by the road, they resented it.

Much of this kind of thinking came from my

Grandmother who had to raise her children

during the Depression.  My Dad was a teen then, too, and he remembered that farmers used to crush eggs instead of selling them as people did not have cash to pay for the eggs.  Oh, I raise my own chickens, too, for eggs.

  9. I use the 'green bags' from the grocery store. They're great and hold alot more. They don't cut off the circulation in your fingers like the plastic does!

  10. No, but I wish my pockets were.

  11. yep

  15. Smoke weed everyday.

  16. One of my friend said me about http://www.sustainlane.com

And yes, I am trying to be a Green Guy !

  17. Since there is such a broad definition of "going green" then yes I am.  I added more insulation to my attic years before it became trendy.
