  1. Yes this is one of the few fights that I don't want to wait the extra week to see. Pavlik is the hometown hero here and all the sports bars are charging $10 cover charges to watch the fight via PPV there but I'd rather be home where it is uncrowded with a couple of friends.

I think that Pavlik will get a better deal on the scorecards this time. I thought that the judges were scoring all wrong the first match as Pavlik was clearly the aggressor most of the rounds. It didn't matter in the end because of the knockout but even Taylor was surprised that the judges had him ahead. I believe that Pavlik will look even better this time and will get the KO a round or two earlier. I'm a fan of Taylor as well but I think he should have taken a match inbetween. I wish him well at supermiddleweight though.

  2. http://www.livetvnetwork.net/

Watch it live there...much cheaper option!

  3. No, I'll wait until it comes on either HBO or Showtime, whichever PPV it's on.  Then I'll check it out.

  4. Nope actually I am leaving  at noon my time  to head to Vegas and stay at the M.G.M. Grand and go with some friends to the fight. Im also betting on Pavlik Baaaaaaaaby!!!!

  5. Yep, I gotta, it's just to good of a rematch to miss.  I think this one is a toss up and it could go either way, but Pavlik is still a slight favorite.  I can't see how dropping Emanuel Steward can help Taylor, but the first one was a barn burner.  I got to see the rematch live.

  6. No I am coming to your place to watch it.

  7. I will be watching the fight for sure! As for KEMET2000's comment about getting lucky, that is about the most stupid I have ever heard.  "The Ghost" will knock him out again!

  8. No.  I watch some fights on PPV, but only ones I think are y significant and will be action-packed.  If I watch the fight live, I always watch the rerun the next week so I can see how the fighters looked without having to root for one of them.  That's particularly true when I watch with friends because those fights might as well not have audio because of the noise!  Lol

I don't really care for Taylor.  He got favorable decisions in his first fight with Hopkins and his fight with Wright, yet he was arrogant not to have prepared properly for his first match with Pavlik.  Someone should have told him that he can't be an all-time great unless he is a current great.

When a fight turns out to be a dud, I'd rather find out about it after it's over and not waste my time.

  9. If nothing changes between now and fight time, I like Pavlik by decision. I think Taylor is going to be gun shy and will fight cautiously, give away too many rounds and lose a unam.

  10. No, I dont buy boxing anymore, because i usually fell disappointed after i watch it, and its freakin expensive

    $60 naaa dont think so.

  11. I dont have the cash for that type of luxuary so I would say no

  12. I think so, that fight was a good one, But this won't be a title fight. That i said "I think so". Pavlik got lucky. So has something to prove....

  13. Oh yeah ... want to see another fight where the two guys dont run and throw punches the whole time .... Pavlik 6th KO ...you can come over but you got to buy the beer
