Are you going to participate in earth hour?

Question

From 8-9 tonite, eveyone around the world is encouraged to turn out their lights and electricity. Even if your city isn't one that has vowed to particiate, you should still turn out your lights. Have fun and isn't it cool to see the world united like this?

The question is, are YOU participating?

Yup, im in Bermuda, n i only have 5 mins off earth hour left. The electric company here is going to moniter it n see how much energy we saved.

But i know if my boyfriend walked in the door now, he would think im nuts and turn everything back on :-)

Absolutely. We'll turn off all the lights in the house, even though we'll be eating dinner by then... that's ok. We'll light a candle. ^_^

... It really is cool to see us all united like this, to preserve our environment and to show how much we care for the world around us ^_^

well I was planning on it, but we are having particularly bad weather & we have decided to stay at my moms house (her house is brick, our house is a small singlewide lol storms are scary in there!) anyway, so I guess yeah I am participating, bc everything will be off all night anyway bc we won't be there, but I highly doubt my mom would participate...

No. I work at a newspaper. 8-9 is a very busy hour. We can't waste and hour even if it is to "save the earth".

Every night when my tv goes off and my lights go out and I go to bed for 6 hrs. or so.  I guess that doesn't count!
