  1. Not if Obama has anything to do with it.  Of course, Obama won't be president if I have anything to do with it.

  2. OK First you believe Obama will be President! Second you think after he is President gas prices will go down! Here's what you really need to do, Go back to the first grade and start your education all over only this time pay attention

  3. depleting oil reserves is the true cause of it's high cost, a matter of supply and demand. we are very much depending here as our primary source of energy. if anyone can discover a cheaper and more efficient way as other source of energy, then its time that cost of petroleum products goes down. the answer to your question is it will definitely not.

  4. A change of Administration won't have any effect on gas prices. The Free Market (thanks to Reagan and Bush 1) will decide that. Drilling won't give any more oil until 2015 and the oil will also be sold on the International market, not all delivered to the US.

In any case our refining capacity is already running at maximum and the oil companies don't want to invest millions in new refineries, that drives prices down and reduces their profits.

  5. Think President of a country has no effect on the price of a gallon of gasoline.  Why do you think that factor makes any difference.  The reality is the Democrats refuse to allow expanded exploration and development of oil and natural gas. We have double our capacity to produce natual gas in the last 5 years and will double it again in the next 5 years.   If you sad people would stop equating the price of gasoline to the party of the President, it would be a solid first step in allowing the U.S. to produce more of its own petroleum products.  It is just so important and here we see people treating the election like some high school senior class office.  McCanin the pick because he supports offshore dirlling and expanded onshore.  Plus he opposes the continuation of ethanol subsidies.  What more could a market oriented person want from a leader.  A speech about change, dreams, and audacity is insulting to people who do understand the dynamics of the energy sector.   From working in it.   Going broke and coming back.  Listen to Boone Pickens since you are closed minded to McCain's proposals.

  6. If Obama is elected forget about drilling. Gasoline prices will skyrocket

  7. i'll be crushing corn to make oil in my home...

  8. I'm more amazed that you think you're funny!

  9. i predict you will not get many answers to this question and if at all they will not be intelligent answers

    edit

ok smarty pants, whats your answer? and why?

  10. Gas is waaay to expensive these days. Luckily I've found a site that offers free gift cards for it. Life's great when you don't have to pay for your gas =)

  11. I'm afraid it may be just the opposite.

  12. I believe they will, the war in Iraq is one of the main factors of gas prices going up

  13. Sorry Sweetie, it will be the opposite.

Why? Simple economics. You don't "conserve" your way to prosperity. You increase supply. Obama and the Democrats are all for alternatives that will neither help reduce dependence on foreign oil NOR offer real solutions. I doubt he'll win, anyway. His choosing Joe Biden shows he really lacked the skills or experience. So much for being the candidate for "change," eh?

By the way, there's nothing wrong with being in the oil and gas industry. Sorry to burst your bubble from what YOU'VE heard on the news.

  14. The gas prices have been going down for about three weeks now and Obama has nothing to do with them dropping.
