I don't think you understand.  The whole reason why this "Global Warming" theory has gotten so political is that it's an easy way for the government to blame us for the pollution problems.

Why bother regulation large businesses, arguing with other countries, and cleaining up the White House when you can make it seem like it's the fault of U.S. citizens?

Pollution is happening all over the world, and it is everyone's job to do something about it.  Politics and Science shouldn't mix.

The thing about Al Gore's modes of transportation is that he was the VP of the USA.  Regardless of your opinion on global warming (it's a crock of b.s. as far as I'm concerned), you can't ask an ex-VP to travel in normal modes of transportation for security reasons.  He's entitled to his security, I'll grant him that, regardless of what I think of him personally.  So I have no problem with him using limos, private jets, etc.  After all, movie stars do, golfers do, nascar drivers do, sitting political leaders do etc.  it's because they have to.

I think he should drive around in a monster truck limo!! Then he'd get like 100 yards to the gallon!!! That would be frickin awesome and highly entertaining!! Then he should do a jump over a bunch of hybrid cars(hopefully crushing some)!!! Cause seriously that's the only way the majority of Americans are going to pay attention to his new religion of Global Warming anyway!!!!

I originally thought all of his environmentalism stuff was going to end in another pitch at the presidency. I'm shocked that he never actually ran... He probably would have won (thanks, in part, to the guilt that some people feel about getting "cheated" in 2000).

I do wish Al Gore would try to do a better job practicing what he's preaching. I guess we have Ed Begley Jr. doing that for us...
