  1. Death of the body or death of the soul? I fear the death of sin and the torment of being separated into eternal darkness for all eternity for the body dies physically but once the soul lives on. I fear not the one who can kill the body but the one who after killing the body will cast both body and soul into eternal damnation and darkness.God bless all

  4. Not the end result, but I am concerned about the process.  I don't want a lingering, painful death.  I would also prefer to avoid fire and drowning.  I also face the near-certainty that, barring the unforeseen,  I will pre-decease my partner, who is 18 years younger than I am.  We are so close, I can't bear the thought of what it will be like for him to be left alone.  I know it would be terrible for me.

I'm actually kind of interested to get to the other side, though. I believe their is some sort of consciousness there.  If there's not, at least I won't be disappointed because I will just stop being.

  5. kind of, because there's so many tv shows and movies that shows people dying or getting killed in scary ways.....0_0!

and there's people who cares about you, and they'll be sad if you die.

  6. afraid of death? no

afraid of lack of sucess before death? yes

  7. who wouldn't be afraid of death? Death is painful and mysterious.

  8. Yes absolutely.

  9. I am not scared of death because once i die I hopefully will go to heaven and live forever in happiness and will be treated special

  10. Not usually. At times, when I feel like I might not have enough time to do all of the things that I want to do, I guess.

Crossing the river of death can be a hard thing, but everybody dies though. Everybody. It's just a natural part of life.

That being said, Death is nothing to be afraid of, just avoided.

  11. I'm not afraid of death itself; I'm afraid of how I die. The pain; the agony. I'm also afraid of the aftereffects it will cause to my relatives and friends. But death itself... is nothing to be afraid of. I'm an atheist, btw.

  12. a lil but im christian n im sure jesus will save me as long as i do good. but if ur not christian i reccommend becoming christian n get babtized cuz dats da only way u can get into heaven

  13. Very afraid cuz it could mean the end of my existence not just as a human but as a spirit.  I sure hope there's an afterlife cuz if there is I know I'm going UP.  I may not be perfect but I have a pure heart.

  14. im definatley way more afraid of wat happens after but im also worried aboout my girlfriend and friends and family that would be affected if i did die

  15. I have thought about this a lot. I'm not suicidal but no I am not. I would not care if I died tomorrow. I feel that I have lived my life very well and have would have good karma if I died.

  16. I am sometimes because I think of everything I will be leaving behind, or of the person I may lose to death. It's scary thinking of death maybe being painful, also.

But other times when I look up at the sky, and especially when I'm looking at a beautiful scenery full of life and beautiful things that God created, I'm not scared at all because I feel God will take care of me.

  17. no i think that ur when ur time comes

  18. no, i'm more afraid of what happens after death

  19. LOL Alex! hahaha

No, not really. Been on the brink several times (cancer.. ugh) and really just don't worry about it anymore. I don't want to die, but am not afraid of it. The Reaper and I were quite close for several years. He's not as bad as all that. ;)

Ps.. still laughing my @ss off at Alex. Shame on you. That was the most inappropriate answer you could possible have given. I love it.

  20. Shockingly, no.

    And i shouldn't be..

I used to be suicidal, so it'd be kinda hypocritical if i was...

  21. It is human nature to not want to die. We were created by God to live forever until adam and eve sinned. But we still want to live as long as possible. But there is hope the bible talks of a resurection. check this website out:

  22. yeahh soemtimes i wonder what happens when we die? do we really go to heaven? or nothing happens i get scared.

  23. I think that it's the human condition to be afraid of death, and perhaps the most fundamental human sentiment. Is it rational to be so? Not really. It's going to happen to everyone, and nothing we can do will stop it.

Plato believed that philosophy was first and foremost our way of coping with the fact that we're going to die.

  24. Not at all. I know Jesus, God's Son, and I know where I'm going. To live is Christ, but to die is gain.

I just hope I die an exciting death, doing something I'm passionate about.

  25. I'm not exactly scared of death but I'm scared of the pain.like cancer,or getting murdered:p

  26. There is no cause to fear death...every day one lives, they're a day closer to it...  If you're doing your best to be the best person you can be...there should be no problem...  If you're not, you'd better see what you need to brush up on...  Having 'been there' you should know 'death' is peaceful...after any 'initial cause'...there is a great peace, there is no worry but your mind will attempt to 'revive' the worry until one puts it away, there is a complete 'void' and then there is a 'search' and a 'find'...a pinpoint of light that, once realized, bursts into brilliant 'being'...and you're 'there'...well, unless you go to the other place...and, oh yes, you can be brought back during this 'process' but you have to want to 'return'...and, most likely, there will be pain...from what ended your life...as well as the realization of sight, sound, smell, touch. tastes and all the worldly concerns...it's quite traumatic...  Just thought you might like to know...  My most recent experience was when I fell off a diving board, got knocked out and fell into the water and drowned...and then was revived...I hadn't gone 'far enough' that time...

  27. I embrace death.

    Heck, I love death.

    No, I am sane.

Its just that I am fascinated about it.

It is one of the things where no one is sure.

Science has not proven it(because science cant), and religions only give strange and exotic myths about it. No one can be sure about anything till they are dead, because then they will know what its like to be dead.

Sometimes, I want to be dead because its something that I have not experienced and think that it would be quite an experience. But I am not fool enough to go kill myself.

Oh well, I cant wait for death.

    <3 Ironic.

  28. nope. i have this strong deathwish. like everytime that i cross the street, i close my eyes. never looking left and right. but of course, i do that on wide open and with less traffic streets. haha. sometimes, suicidal thoughts are comforting.

  29. There is really no point to be afraid, I am but if you think about it there really is no point. When your time is up it is up and there is nothing you can do about it.

  30. Death is a frightening concept to me, but I'm only 16 so I'm not wasting time worrying about it right now :)

  31. I am not necessarily afraid of death but I am afraid that I will die in vain and not be able to enjoy life, reach my full potential, be successful, and help out those who are in need.  Of course I worry whether I will get into heaven or not also.
