Are you guys afraid of dying?

Many people fear death, and some don't. Are you the one that fears it, or are you the one that doesn't fear it?

not really, there are a couple things i would like to do before i die tho, im only 16

I only fear the death of my family not myself. But my death would probably affect my family the same way their death would affect me. Im 16.

I once had a cancer scare. They found a shadow on my X-ray the size of a grapefruit, and they thought it was lung cancer. Sucks because I never smoked. I had to wait a week, thinking I was going to die, before they discovered that the lump was just a benign tumor that wasn't even attached to the lung.

Ever since then, I've had a different perspective on life. I don't sweat the small stuff as much, and I try to live my life in such a way that I'll have plenty of great memories to look back on when I'm stuck in the old folks' home. And if I die before I get old, well, at least I'll have died with few regrets.

I'm afraid of a painful death! I don't like pain! And I get weirded out when I think about what happens if anthing, after we die.

i dont fear death but i fear dying. make sence? lol

i dont want to die cuz i have a family...not ready to go yet. but im not scared to die...im rather curious and really hope to get to see my pappaw again lol! but i can wait...i hope i can at least see my kids grow =)

fear death? no. yes. I fear it yet i pray for it to come very soon

I am a bit scared of unknown, but also excited. I would like to cease from existence just to rest forever, knowing nothing. However I am afraid of a long and painful death. Also I've watched the movie "Johnny Got His Gun" and I've learned that there's fate worse than death (Man lost his limbs, his speech, his hearing, his sight and was stuck there with his thoughts kept alive by machines, prisoner in his own body till the end of life).

I used to be... When I was younger I used to have nightmares about being buried and stuff. But I'm over it now... Because now I know that I won't be scared because I won't see anything obviously...
