Are you guys excited for the Beijing Olympics?

h**l yeah!!!  I look forward to every Olympics ...it was more exciting when east Germany and the Soviet Union were still around because we were David to their Goliath.  I guess we have that again with China....when did we stop calling them "Red China"  they are still red aren't they????  Did we forget Tienanmen Square???

Very much so.  I actually think these Olympics are going to go off very well...China wants and needs this to go off well..and the Chinese government will do everything they can to give make themselves at least a little bit better in the eyes of the world.  I know there international perception won't be 100 percent fixed by just one Olympic games..but this going well could do a lot to helping out a tiny bit.

I only watch Cricket, F1 Racing, and Boxing on TV, the olympics have always bored me.

I also do not support the olympics being in Beijing and I do not support the decision to not allow Iraqi athletes to compete in it due to political reasons when a country like Beijing should not have gotten it due to political reasons.

i'll read about in the news,  i've never been a big Olympic fan, but i do like to see how many Gold Medals the USA brings home

This is one of the few times when the world is supposed to be united in some way. Even with controversy, it's still nice to know the Olympic tradition continues. I am excited about it, and I'll watch when I can. I like the diving and swimming.
