  1. well from this day forward, i am going to try to have a happy attitude towards life. one way i could accomplish that; never ever getting married.. at least at a younger age then wht i would expect.

anyway thats all in the future. i should just focus in whats going on now.

  2. Be successful in life.  Set goals in your life and accomplish them.  Do what you always wanted to do if you haven't done already.  Especially if it's something big.  Hang out with friends, have fun, enjoy life.

  3. Get married.

  4. uhm when im sad i listen to techno music. :)

really it helps && sumtimes dance

  5. Not care about what people think about me

  6. get together with friends more...

    get a girlfriend or boyfriend

exercise... eat more... caffeine... sugar :)

    works for me

  7. get a best friend :)

she always makes me happy when im sad.

  8. Best way I've ever found to improve my mood and self-esteem is to put myself out for someone else's benefit, like doing volunteer work or helping an elderly neighbor

  9. I was going through depression about how I can't find a job couple weeks ago but I got tired of it. I hate seeing myself being negative person and affecting my family. I refuse to take medication. So what I do is pray a lot, read something that will motivates me, take a walk, hot shower, music, mixed drink, hang out with friends, spent time with daughter. I would probably be happier if I find a good job, success in school, and married to a wonderful guy.

  10. Yes. I could get a boyfriend, find a stable job, be successful in life then last settle down...

  11. This is not hokey at all. Happiness, contentment, serenity, tranquility: these are a state of mind. See your mind as the most exquisite instrument of all (because it is) and educate yourself on how it works. True and consistent contentment doesn't come from your circumstances or good fortune, it comes from being able to genuinely love, enjoy, appreciate, and accept your life and the world *as it is* in every moment. (This doesn't mean you cannot express your preferences and pursue change, it just means you don't waste your time begrudging things for the way they are.)

Start studying works such as the Tao Te Ching, Buddhist teachings; books by Eckhart Tolle, Byron Katie, Jill Bolte-Taylor; read accounts  of people who have had moments of 'awakening', 'enlightenment', 'reaching nirvana' (all of this can be found on the internet).

Mainly, it's about clearing your head of delusions, false concepts, and unjustified/unreasonable fears. It takes a willingness to question yourself and what you believe to uncover these things that have been storing up and bogging down your mind.

It is genuinely content and happy people that make and sustain the true joys of 'external life': deep, sustained and fulfilling relationships and friendships, a great attitude towards work and career, a sense of purpose and a sense of helping others. If you are not naturally happy and clear-headed, it doesn't matter if you get married, have a good paying job, start a family, or have many possessions, you'll still think your life sucks. Many people don't understand that but the proof is all around for us to see and observe.

Start with your mind, end with a great life.

  12. Get married to the right person and get a wonderful job!
