Are you happy in your skin?

Question

Have you ever thought you wanted to be in a different skin type? lighter or darker shade. I'm of African origin and I'm proud to be, when I thought about it I was like, h**l yes! I like my skin. If ever I was given the chance to come back to life after I was dead I'd still choose my black skin.

So as I was thinking this, I was wondering if anyone else thought the same. So......are you happy with your skin?

NO I HATE MY SKIN I WEAR LOTS OF FAKE TAN AND MAKE-UP AND WHEN I'M ON HOLIDAY I DON'T GO TAN I WOULD LOVE TO BE LIKE LATINA I'M FROM NORTHERN IRELAND SO I THINK IT WOULD SORT OF BE DIFFICULT WELL JUST THOUGHT I'D ANSWER XXXXX

I do like my skin tone, as it is tanned, but not too tanned. I am British white & I'm proud to be. Though I wouldn't mind having a mixed skin tone, or a black skin tone. The reason for this is because most black/mixed people are good looking, it isn't too noticeable when you have spots & blemishes, & their skin doesn't wrinkle as much. But really I don't mind being white.

Hi IFC ! I am glad to know that you are happy of your skin because few people are not confident of themselves because of their outside appearance and the skin is the big factor of it.

at first i wanted to be darker so i could look more like my mom than my SD , but now im totally comfortable in my own skin . I have never wanted to be anything but black .

h**l Yes!!!! I don't care if I'm black, brown or whatever color I am very happy who I am. That's why they make tanning beds.

I like being white, but I gotta say, black skin has it's major benefits as it doesn't wrinkle as much and they tend to look so much younger and fresher when they're older than a white person.

I can't see myself in any other skin though..

I'd like to have chinese type skin ...
