I'm in Tampa FL, and I hate it here, it's so hot and humid and this being a 'right to work state' makes things in the employement area terrible. Biggest mistake I ever made moving here from the NYC area...what was I thinking????

  1. the grass is always greener on the other side.

  2. I'm very happy living where I am. I have a good job, a nice house that i can afford the mortgage for, a good circle of friends, my family live nearby, a good social life, my city is a very pleasant one (in most parts!), has a good nightlife and lots of parks and because its in the midlands, everywhere is not too far away.

  3. Brownworld made a very interesting comment when he said "the grass is always greener on the other side".  I'm lucky because I have two homes.  One in Oklahoma and one in California.  Also I am an Army Veteran and have lived all over the world.  I've had a sampling of this and that in both states and countries.  I am the type of person who simply thanks God each and every morning that I wake up for everything that I have and that I he has allowed me to live another day in his glory and grace.  I've served in the Army where I have seen "poverty" like no one can even imagine.  I feel very blessed and never take anything for granted.

    Peace & Love  :)
