i don't think anyone is happy about that. im only 17 and the only reason i drive is to do something with a friend or go to work. other than that im usually around home. it hasn't really effected me as much as someone who drives 30 miles to work each day.

No, because is not only gas what get higher price. All the rest will be also expensive. The gasoline moves the transportation for the different needs and desires.

Hopefully someone can do an alternative energy soon, like in Brazil for example.

In the UK we pay about $10 per gallon!

Just buy Smaller Cars... Do you need a V8 to go to the shops ;)

I honestly dont even pay attention to what I pay anymore. I dont really drive more than I have to and I have to have gas in my car to get to and from work. So, basically I have to pay no matter what it cost, even if its 5$ a gallon! But yes its sad!

Are you having a laugh????  $4 is about £2.50 GBP.  In England its more than twice that and rising.  Be grateful you don't live here.

shoot maybe even a hybrid... companies nowadays even give reimbursments like $3k if u buy a hybrid.. pretty sweet.

and those tax credits.. even sweeter.. i want a hybrid.

Neither, I'm mad as hornets who've had their hive kicked. My finances are tight enough as it is. I can barely afford to get back n forth to work n school as it is... Having to pay another dollar per gallon is going to kill me moneywise. I am praying that it doesn't happen. But unfortunately, I know how greedy the oil magnates are, so I don't think that prayer is going to be answered the way I want it to be. Sigh. Oh well.

I would love to pay $4 per gallon, in the uk we pay £1.09 per litre which is over $9 per litre
