  1. I am mostly upset that they are bailing out irresponsible homebuyers who usually lied on their applications and had no business even thinking about buying a house. They should have saved up a large down payment and borrowed with a fixed rate mortgage.

  2. Socialism sucks and when everyone takes the free ride, no one will be left to push the bus.

The yuppies borrowing against home equity for vacations, SUV's and swimming pools caused the problem for themselves. Let them rent a while.

  3. Absolutely not.  If you run your business into the ground the taxpayers are under no obligation to save it.

Unfortunately the government will bail them out.  I hope the corporate officers of those financial institutions do some serious time for costing the taxpayers that much money, but I'm not holding my breath.

  4. This an example of big business getting help and yet we have to cut the pay to Medicare doctors.  Campaign donation might of helped.  F & F made lage donations. Average people can't ,so we have to go without!

  5. No.

I don't think the government should privatize profits and socialize losses.

    Thanks GOP.

  6. Another fine example for our children to follow :

Your reckless financial decisions sometimes carry harsh consequences.....OR NOT !

    New TV show -

Turn This House, And A Huge Profit With Absolutely No Risk To You ! (compliments of the U.S. Government)

  7. No even though I don't understand all of it,I think it is wrong.I think it will not save many homeowners but it will bail out two banks who should of known better, they did it to themselves. This is such a crock.

  8. The government will help out any large corporation that gets into trouble- they are the first to practice socialism, but only when it benefits the rich and the giant corporations- this is taxpayer monies that they are using- their is no other kind- when the many contribute to the few, this is socialism.

If the money would have went to the homeowners that face foreclosure, they would be able to keep their houses and paid the mortgage companies and they would not need the bailout. Something doesn't make sense here!
