I live in the suburbs........

I've lived in the suburbs my entire life.

Nothing really happens here, but it's weird to go to cities and the country and be exposed to different things.

Suburbs are really about family image to me, everyone seems to be chasing the "american dream."

I don't hate it, but once you're used to it, their is no going back.......................................

I was born and raised in the Big City, lived most of my life in Suburbia, and am looking for the perfect place to retire in rural VA. There are good things and bad about anyplace you live. You just have to take advantage of the good ones that are readily available.

i live in an old welsh cottage surrounded by fields about 8 miles from the sea...it would be perfect except that i moved here recently and do not have any friends locally so no, i'd be happier with people around me !!!!

No because I live in South Carolina. My parents moved down here before I was born from New Jersey. I do not have a southern accent. Everybody says I have a northern accent. Wished I lived in New Jersey or even better, New York
