  1. I love my career - even though with the economy it means I'm not currently doing it!  I define my career as doing what I love to do (a career is what you'd do for free if you won a million dollars). A career is using my skills and abilities to their fullest in an environment that appreciates it.  If I'm not doing it then I've just got a job.  I have to keep doing a job until I find the place in the market that will pay me to do my career!

What do you love to do, that uses your skills, and that the market will pay for?  Find that spot and you'll be happy with your career.

  2. Right now i work at the family business. It's an appliance shop that sells vacuum and sewing machines and also repairs them. However I'm the youngest and have been working the least amount of time which means i get all the jobs that nobody else wants to do such as trimming hedges while its 110 degrees outside and scrubbing toilets. This is somewhat expected and if I were to stick with it I could end up with around 70k a year salary. (Currently working for a little over minimum wage.) However I am looking into becoming an electrician although I still am not quite sure what it takes.
