I'm happy, but our marriage is not perfect...  The misunderstandings are the hardest thing, where either he or I get upset over something we THINK the oter person said and it's down hill from there... There are also the personal sacrifices we make for the sake of the marriage... And sometimes just taking care of a family & a house is exhausting & frustrating... Through it all, the good times & the bad, we're best friends and we try to stick together... On the balance, it's more than worth the effort...

Way to be depressing! Yes I'm very happy in my marriage, and you could be too. Marriage is hard work, and just like a job, a hobby, or anything in life, you have to constantly work at it. You can't just "leave it be" and hope it'll stay constant. Life isn't constant and neither will your marriage be.

Everyones defintion of a happy marriage is different. I could say I am happy in my marriage but there are many things that I would like to change that I often wonder are enough to consider divorce.I would say what hurts the most in love is not getting what you feel you need or want from your partner!

Yes. Though there are things I would change. There I times I hate it. There are times it is really hard. But overall, when I get ready for bed, and he is waiting for me, and I can lay next to him, drape my arm over his body, and everything seems worth it, everything seems right and good, I am happy.

I think the hardest part is finances. Having enough money to pay the bills.
