As a Crows supporter, I am glad finally Adelaide has been active during this period. But I am disappointed Adelaide de-list Jason Torney.

  1. YES!

bulldogs FINNALY got rid of sam power. he did come good this year though and learn how to tag but eh..

  2. couldn't be happier big Kev,with Carlton landing Judd,Richard Hadlee, and Mathew kruza and still have the second pick in the pre season draft(where they could take Jarrod Brennan) its all good down at Carlton.

p.s big Kev, people like imawunda (who is obviously a very hurt west coast supporter) make me laugh-his side is better without Judd-come on ha ha.

  3. I don't care on who we get for the doggies but it was ashame that Luke Darcey called it quits. He was a true legend for the doggies. But at least we still have Chris Grant, Scott West and Brad Johnston.

  4. well big kev, i'm not happy about schneider going to st kilda. that deal with him and dempster for pick 26 was bad. other than that, it was alright. im looking foeward to see playfair and mattner play.

  5. No, I don't think Essendon did well in the trade period( They did nothing at all) , especially when they could of got rid of Johns or Bradley ( C*** players) and improved their team slightly.

  6. no!!!

  7. I am p'd off they de-listed Bode, he got injured and had this happen to him. I have 2 guernseys with his name and number on them!!!!

  8. imawunda, let me get this straight - you are happy to lose the league`s best player, and also a good young kid. Good for you.

As for me, I`m happy with the Tigers trading, we got McMahon from the Dogs & Morton from Eagles, both good players, McMahon is proven, and I believe Mitch has potential.

PS - What the h**l were Sydney thinking getting rid of Schnieder? Dont agree with conda, I reckon he`s a good player

  9. Sydney essentially traded Schneider and Dempster (received pick 26) for Mattner (gave up pick 28). Good trade for us I think, Dempster has no brain and Schneider is lazy. We also received Playfair which is funny cause I have always laughed at my Geelong mate about how c**p he is and now he is on my team, we gave up pick 44 for him which is a bit of a loss for us.

We did well in the trade, if we had have got T.Johnstone or B.Miller though we would have been the big winners.

  10. Big Kev, I am also a crows fan.

I am quite happy with the decisions that they've made.

Not too concerned about losing any of the players that we did.

It is good to see some action.

I think any team would have been happy to get Chris Judd though!

I think imawunda is only saying that because she's trying to save face.

    Come on The Crows!!!

  11. Yes, I'm glad the WCE traded Judd.

I reckon we'll be better off without him. Mitch Morton going to Richmond will be our gain & their loss!

  12. I'm very happy that we stayed quiet this trade period, after a successful year and what looks to be a pretty bright future, it's all good news from a hawks point of view.

Must admit though the Torney trade was a bit of a shock, thought he did pretty well for you guys in 07

  13. Playfair, good player who deserves a go he won't get at the Cats for a fair while.  Good luck to him at the Swannies.

Gardiner - bit bemused.  Very good young player - would have thought he was the future.

Kingy ... what the ...?  Perhaps three good rucks is a luxury no club can afford any more.  I assume King must have wanted that to get a bit more money somewehre else or perhaps just to be number 1 ruckman.

  14. I think North Melbourne did OK, didn't trade low picks and picked up a couple of promising players. Sad to see Brad Moran go to Adelaide, the kid was just started to come good and will be a handy tall for them.

  15. As a West Coast fan I'm reasonably happy, as we got plenty of good early picks, plus a young forward In Kennedy.  Obviously Judd is a loss, but his contract was up and he wanted away.  Losing Morton was a bit poor, maybe we could have kept him for an extra year, he is a WA boy, and it might have helped attract his talented brothers to the club.

  16. i certainly am happy with west coasts deal with carlton. picks 3 and 20 giving them 2 first round picks (3 and thier own) and an early one in the second round. and to score a young forward was a bonus

  17. No because i'm a bombers fan.

We had perfect opportunities to get rid of ricky dyson and kepler bradley and we didn't make the deal.

Now were stuck with these spuds for another few years.

  18. Im not happy.

    Brisbane traded off Richard Hadley.

He was injured at the start of the season so he couldnt play and he was an up and coming star. Now he is traded off to somewhere else so....I hope he sucks now :)

And I have an extra reason to hate Carlton....Juddy is there (nothing against Judd, just Carlton!!)

  19. Yep, its been a little quieter for the Pies compared to other teams..but we got Woods from Brisbane Lions which is great - we need a good strong ruckman!

Pleased that WC Eagles lost Judd :))
