Are you having a big wedding party?

We are having 3 on each side. but one of my sisters will not be there. so standing up at the wedding there will only be 2 on each side.

I'm having 4 on each side...

My fiance has 3 brothers and a best friend(who's sister set us up)

Then I have my two best friends(one is my maid of honor) and then my two friends who set my fiance and I up!

5 flower girls(my daughter, my 2 neices, and my fiance's god daughters)

2 ring bearers(one is my little nephew who is rather shy he'll be 3 when we marry, so I don't know if he'll actually walk up. the other one will be 6 years old)

I am only having 4 bridesmaids. My 2 best friends, the groom's sister, and a very close cousin.

I think mine is way too big for my wedding size.

I'm having 4BM and 4GM, so 8 in total. Our wedding will be only 40 ppl, so 25% of the people will be stading for us LOL! I didn't want to have such a large WP, but we had to include his sister and only cousin, his brother in-law, father is best man, and his best friends.  I wanted something smaller, but certain common courtesies needed to be observed.

I think yours sounds perfect!  I think big wedding parties seem to look like a parade instead of a wedding!

we had too many people that had to be included...we ended up with 7 on each side.  my siblings, his closest friends who are like siblings (he's an only child), and lifelong friends...it worked out well though!

I had 3 groomsmen - which was my fiance's best friend (BM), his brother and my brother

Then 2 bridesmaids - my MOH (my cousin/best friend) and another close friend who happens to be the BM's wife.

I was supposed to have 3 bridesmaids but my cousin ended up being 8.5 months pregnant and didn't feel up to it and I didn't feel right about replacing her, so it ended up being uneven, but I didn't really care.

Oh and my two little cousins (6 & 4 yrs old) were my flowergirls.

I married in March and had 7 brides maids, 7 groomsmen, 4 ushers (who also stood at the front with the wedding party during the ceremony), 2 ring bearers, 3 flower girls, a junior bride and a junior groom so I'd say yeah I had a big wedding party!!!
