Personally I think the Boks played absolutley terribly. Well done to the Aussies for taking advantage of that but I don't think they will be beating the Boks at home by any means. ABs vs. Wallabies should be a close one... dunno who I am picking there! What you guys think?

  1. I agree the Boks didn't play anywhere near as well as they did against the AB's, the wallabies admittedly capitalised on the boks sloppy play, but despite that it was hardly a crushing defeat.  The wallabies will have to lift there game quite considerably if they are to beat the AB's as they have had a lot of soft games leading upto this weekends clash

  2. I was impressed by the way Australia played and took advantage of the Bok's mistakes, and good on them.

ABs vs Wallabies?  I'm going to go for the Wallabies on this one.

  3. It seems to be unanimous that the boks were drained and who can blame them.  Two mammoth efforts in aotearoa has to take it out of you.  Quite frankly it seemed to me that neither  team played well on the night.  The wallabies didn't show anything spectacular as the tries were average. The whole game was average.  The wallabies should have created more chances than they did.  Stink thing is though, they always seem to get up for the Bledisloe.  If they can carry their winning form through another game I will be impressed.  For me though it has to be the A.Bs on the night. A week of reflection will do them well and to be honest they didn't play that bad in Dunedin. A.Bs 13+

  4. the wallabies' performance was good but they will have no chance against the all blacks

  5. The All Blacks dont often lose two in a row and will be looking to prove a point after last week and the wallabies will need to be on top of their game to win this one

All Blacks pack will be alot stronger with the return of Thorn, Somerville and possibly McCaw

  6. Yeah right Boks played terribly, but good enough to beat the ABs some silly rivalry from way back come to kiwi country for a good work over and then see how it feels against the okkers remember the ausies have a new broom and new brooms always sweeps clean on first trial.

I think this new broom is going to make a white wash of the tri nations - as much as I hate to see ockers winning and worst when the team at the losing end is my own - it makes me cry and give up

  7. Australia played better than i expected, but they were helped by SA not playing their best.. it looked like a total different outfit from the side that played the ABs a week earlier.. however they will be very tough at home..

I'm picking the AB forwards to slightly dominate the Aussies and on dry grass should see the AB backline do their thing.. What the Aussies do have atm is an edge in the lineouts and their confidence is high... but im going for the ABs for the win by about 8points..

  8. The aussies did play well....but when the All blacks lost to the boks a few weeks back they played quite bad

I have looked at the form and the  AB's have a few players  out and are not there force which they were in previous year in my opinion losing player like Tanana Umanga who inspired them alot

I think they will put up a good fight but the aussies will have them by 5-10 points

p.s. i am going to the Wallabies vs all blacks

    jealous??

  9. GO AUSSIES ,  after the world cup Henry and his crew should have gone including the top dogs who supported him and the rotation system but there was no way otherwise they had to sack themselves . So go deans,  it will be close

  10. Let's face it.. three great teams.  Given the fact that SA is increasingly having to make use of less experienced men (including the coach) because  of racial criteria set by their government and the fact that all teams are faced with prominent players injured, I think they are all doing a great job. My heart is with NZ.. but SA can surprise on home-ground..

  11. To be honest, I was more disappointed with the Bok's performance as opposed to any Wallaby brilliance. That's not to say Australia played badly - far from it. SA gave away far too much possession through handling errors, turnovers and missed tackles - three critical areas of the game where they were on the wrong end of the stats. One bridge too far on an exhausting tour? To give credit to Aus, they exploited the Bok's weaknesses out wide and under the high ball. In the end, you cannot argue two tries to none.

Given Dean's Crusader nous and playing at home, I see no better opportunity for the Wallabys to put one over a psychologically brittle AB team, than this Saturday.

  12. The Aussie did well against the Bok but that was mainly because of the slack Boks. I think the Aussies have a chance at NZ but pretty sure NZ will win. But it will be close

  13. I don't see Australia winning. When was the last time the All Blacks lost two in a row. I think the only real danger to the All Blacks is Tiqerri (don't think I spelled that right). It'll be a good test for the All Blacks centres (Nonu and Smith V Giteau and Mortlock), but the All Black Forward pack will dominate. I pick an All Blacks win.

  14. I agree, 3 games on the road told on the 'boks [ too many little errors, fumbles, missed tackles, etc. ] at that level you get punished for these. Thought the Aussies were reasonable, applied pressure and took their chances, but I still think the ABs are the most 'complete' side of the 3 and will win tri-nations [ again ! ]. No doubt, Aussie will improve under Robbie, but the bonus point N.Z. got in their loss to 'boks could be vital, N.Z. have shown they can win in the Republic, Australia can't ! so, it's the ABs for me, cheers.

  15. Well i think the Aussie win over SA now has some of the AB fans a bit worried!

BUt its good!! I love all that anticipation etc that you always get when NZ plays Aussie.

    GO ABS!

  16. Give the Wallabies credit, they won!!! It doesn't matter whether they look impressive or not.  They fought a good fight and came up winning.  They hold the Boks offence to 9 points.  Two tries to secured the match is good enough!  They will be impressive in SA as is with the AB. Look out, AB & SA!

  17. Not really. Bokz played like ****. ABs have to not make as many mistakes then they can win forsure. Go ABs!!!!

  18. Have to agree with you the south African were very tired looking bunch of guys and they showed that on the Field which in turn made the Aussies look better than they really were

  19. Yeah I think Australia played decently.. but Boks maybe had a unfortunate night. Wallabies definitely need to be more aggressive in the break down. Although I was pleased =]

Yeah I'm not so sure about the AB's vs Wallabies. I think it'll be pretty tough game.

    We'll see.

  20. sa played c**p plus the ref was shocking (interpretation of the break-down was a joke, seems aussies can't ref), ab's will beat aussies and sa will win tri-nations

  21. hard/tough game, but [The AB's] will come out on top

  22. it will b a close game, but i think the aussies do have a chance rite now they r on a roll,my heart says AB but my head says wallabies, going in with a win gives them that lil advantage.

  23. the Boks left everything in NEW ZEALAND.They were ordinary against the Wobblies and the Wobblies were average at best. They will have to step up 3 notches against THE ALLBLACKS.The Boks had given everything against the ALLBLACKS and left nothing for the Wobblies, thats what happens when you play the bench mark team The AllBlacks you have to bring your A+ game. The world cup was in the past who gives a toss about the France,we have already beaten both finalist of 2007 W.Cup .Its the most overrated competition in world rugby.GO THE A.Bs

  24. i think the springboks played badly. more because they had depleted themselves in the previous two games than because they sucked. they just were tired and didnt have anything left in the tank.

you need to play a near perfect game to beat the all blacks. if australia makes as many mistakes against the blacks as they did against the boks, THEY WILL LOSE. period. you cant make that many mistakes against the all blacks. not if you expect to win.

i am impressed by the new urgency and potency they displayed on attack. but i dont think they will be able to beat the all blacks after thier loss to the springboks. the all blacks will be looking to vindicate themselves, to demonstrate that they are the best team in the world. and they are always dangerous after a loss.

    all blacks. decisively.

  25. I'm impressed by the wallabies, but not enough. The AB's should still win in Sydney in my opinion.
