Well, I am not IN Zimbabwe right now but i am a Zimbabwean. Hopefully i will be able to go back to my homeland soon when things get better.

The currency is about as useful as toilet paper: 1 US Dollar = 574,556,500 (say what???)

they recently issued a 500 million note (say Whaaa?)

Inflation is about 200 000 % (say whaaaaat?)

EVERYBODY uses the black market. The currency exchange rate at the black market is 1 USD to zim$2 billion. That's how people survive--use the black market (or steal from wealthier people, grow their own food etc). Long Queues of basic commodities like bread, milk, rice, corn, salt, sugar, meat, etc are a daily sight. Gas (petroleum) is hard to come by.
