Question:

Are you in favor of a second Boston Tea Party?

We gained our independence from England in a war triggered by our dumping of tea in Boston Harbor in protest against unfair taxation. For decades now, we are heavily taxed by municipal, state and federal governments with absolutely no say in how those tax dollars are spent. Would you join me and a bunch of other concerned citizens if we were to congregate in Boston this weekend?

  1. At least you have Representatives!  Here in D.C. we pay all the same taxes and have no one in Congress on our behalf!  How about a Potomac River Tea-Party?

  2. Sure - milk and two sugars please.  The only decent thing that came of that was 'Paul Revere and the Raiders'  nice records lol

    love from England

  3. Yes, and I'll bring my $5 (a gallon) can of gas we can burn!

  4. No.  The original complaint was "taxation without representation."  Today, we elect the official who are stealing our money.  You do have say so in how money is spent.  Call your Congressman.

  5. We don't need to go to Boston.

This is true all over the country.

Symbolic gestures are nice, but the reality is that we have to vote for smaller, less intrusive government.

Until we fire the guys who perpetuate the system as it stands, we will continue to have the unlimited charge account, charged up to the max by our elected officials.

If you really don't want it, vote for Ron Paul.

  6. Nope.

  7. I'm going to take part in a civil rights struggle concerning things that have happened in the south, that is my Boston tea party.

  8. Why not let people from all 50 states gather at the White House and dump our garbage there in protest of overall unfair and unjust treatment of US citizens

  9. uh, that would be

    No

  10. Do as you wish in Boston. I'll be here in Mississippi, with low taxes, high teen pregancy, high divorce rate, crumbling infrastructure and numerous acts of Dominionism.

    Go ahead and protest.

  11. I would, though we do supposedly have representation. Our founding fathers are probably spinning in their graves.

  12. Yes, we've actually done that in Chicago.  Bottle water is now being heavily taxed, so a lot of people dumped it in the Chicago River.

  13. Tea would be an anachronism, the state of affairs today clearly calls for us to dump oil.

Obviously this presents an ecological problem.

Luckly I have thought of an ingenious solution- they only way an oil spill will get cleaned up is if those in power are pressured to or have a vested interest. Getting them to care probably will not happen, so we dump the oil on their fancy mansions, villas, etc... that way they demand FEMA come in and clean it up (after pointing assault rifles at some grandmas of course).

See it works on numerous levels. Not only is it kind of a second Tea Party, but we also get to have a nice community event, get to know what our representatives better, and of course ruin some rich peoples stuff- all positives.
