  1. yes 6 players would be nice at such a high level

with no restrictions on how many times its used

  2. Good question.. But I disagree with you.. When can you classify a person as unable to play? And i can guarantee you that these few extra players will be used up each and every game, fresh legs is a major advantage. Smaller injuries will be acted as more serious ones, to get these fresh legs on the field. Not right.

It ruins the game. Teams such as the bulldogs can't use their fitness and run to their advantage.

  3. Definatly not in favor. The way it is going you will have 2 teams. One on the side as inter-change, and one playing, with the teams changing every few minutes.

Once upon a time there was a 19th and 20th man only, remember? That was when it was fair dinkum. The game is getting faster but it's getting soft too.

  4. nay!

  5. No.

The way AFL is going it will have so many interchange players on the sideline that it will resemble American Gridiron football. They seem to have more players on the sideline than on the field - then they have specialists for different tasks.

The ones who are pushing for more interchange are coaches - for their own selfishness while coaching - & those who don't fully understand Aussie Rules.

Over one interchange a minute is too much - players are expected to give 100% while on the ground - not having the benefit of a spell in the forward/back pocket in times gone by - therefore increasing the liklihood of injury.

Look at the injury toll each week.

  6. no!!!

  7. No way. There is a certain purity that comes with keeping the game as it was meant to be played. I am so tired of the tweaking that goes on. Just leave it as is... The cream will rise.
