  4. Lots of people dine out in Thailand.  The food is great there, and usually inexpensive.

  6. Most food are good, nope won't be in virgin territory, phuket is not close to bangkok pattaya is. Most plates go for 25-30 baht which less or equal to a dollar. 1usd is to 30-33 baht. If you like seafood and soup try tum yum goong-shrimp or talay-seafood/ocean/sea, fried, curry, pad thai, rad na-stir fry rice noodle with gravy, Kow mun kai - garlic rice and chicken& Pad si ew-stir fry noodles in say sauce. But in phuket I prefer seafood.
