I'm an European-American...In Europe even between cities there is a rail system (it's fast) or a network of buses. In Michigan, to take the train somewhere it takes forever, b/c it stops in every small town. There is no network of fast buses or trains to connect the suburbs.. or Michigan to other states. So are people not interested in this? Germany is a big auto-maker but they have public transportation. So the auto-industry customers don't necessarily overlap with the people that would take the bus/train. Why don't you get involved to demand better public transportation in Michigan?
