Like, do you eat your meals with your family or do they all eat separately?

yes, well we spend as much time as we can togther. but we all work odd hours so when my parents are home im off at work and vise versa.

but weekends we are always togther.

my non muslim mates think its odd. but my mum really is my best friend as it should be for muslim girls.

I have three children and we have always eaten meals together.  As both my husband and myself work, we ensure that this time is always devoted totally to the children as over a meal it is 'easy' to chat.  Any problems, good times and concerns always rear their heads during meal times.

I think all of us would like to spend more time with our family, but in today's fast paced world we seem to 'fit it in' as much as possible, whenever possible.

I think as a family we spend more time than most together, but until we win the lottery it will never be enough.

I love eating meals with my family, food seems more appitizing when eating with family member than alone. I love my mum's cooking, she is a fantastic cook!

If we are together at home, we always eat together.  We go to movies, parties, etc.  If fact, my daughter is old enough now that she works with us some times during her summer break.  It is important for families to do things together as well as independently.  Everyone should have their own hobbies and some alone time to do their own thing.

I'd love to have a 'family thing' but my folks, they're not so into it.

I'd luv to eat together as a family and go out on picnics.

Actually, my dad stays out of the house until 11-1 at night. My mom usually eats in front of the TV.

It's hard to all the time, because my husband works shift work. But I try to spend as much time as I can with my in laws and with my own family. And on weekends, I like spending with family with my husband.
