I am not jealous of Manchester united or any other team, no do I actually hate them. I am only interested in the games and fortunes of my club the only time any other team's results matter, is in their two games against us.  I often feel sorry for the glory hunters who follow the big four, they will never feel the elation attached to the fact that the unfashionable team, from your home town,  who you have supported through thin, thinner and even thinner have  finally gained real success and won a real trophy.

Obviously some people wouldn't admit that they loathe/envy them. However, come on people! We have to be real sometimes and swallow our pride (in some cases -- champions league -.- ). So, yes I envied (note the past tense) them when they lifted the cl trophy instead of madrid. duh.

Well when people say our players are ugly(like they look any better themselves), we're a one-man team(and yet we won all our BIG games when our so-called one-man goes missing) and then say ignorant rubbish like we forced the so-called one-man to stay when the player has come out himself and confirmed otherwise and say i, and best of all "i HATE Man Utd" and give no apparent reason, just because everyone else does its all points to jealousy and stupidity cus thats the an emotion that clouds people sense of thinking straight,,,

I know what your question is, whenever I say I hate, or dislike Man URE I get insulted and their fans say "You're jealous". Same goes with Liverpool and other successful clubs like AC Milan, Ajax & Madrid. If you say you hate them their fans say that we're jealous of their "history" or something pathetic like that. Who cares really I wish my club Arsenal were far more successful than Liverpool so I can say "You're just jealous of our history get a life" haha

Envy them? Yes. Loathe them? No.

Their victory in the Champions League was so, well, for lack of a proper way to put it, they just weren't better than Chelsea. Petr Cech was the difference till (and during the shootout). Terry lost it for Chelsea, Man Utd didn't win it. No Man Utd fan can claim they deserved it more than Chelsea. It was, like Bobby Charlton said, fate.

They are a good team. I respect them for that, but I know where my loyalties lie, and that is at Stamford Bridge.

No not jealous of them at all, i concentrate on whats happening at Arsenal, not whats happening at other teams, surely thats what all supporters should be doing, looking at their own clubs?

Nor loathing either, they're a good team, got some good players, won quite a few trophies, good luck to them.

i don't think i have ever been less jealous to be honest, i feel no envy just unbelieveable hatred!! I know that it is natural to dislike other teams when your heart and soul is with another one, but i don't hate any other team as much as i hate man utd! I think they cheat and gloat and i think that they believe they are much better than they actually are! Just my opinion!

Not jealous at all. If they ever pass our level of success (doubtful) maybe I'd be slightly jealous but until then...I dislike them for other reasons.

Anyone who does these type of questions are just stirring up trouble. There a successful team. so what. Why you would be jealous of a successful team is weird. you just follow your own team and if you get beat by them, so what.

Plenty of people say just as many silly things about United as well. As a United fan I can only say that I respect all our opposition, you would be silly not to, but envy none and loathe none. I have teams I like more than others but don't see the sense in hating someone more than loving my own club. Seems a waste of energy to me .

Its not so much jealousy more a passionate hate or dislike I think ye experience! Part of the ABU club...anyone but utd!

Seeing them win disgusts quite alot of neutrals!! lol
