  1. heck no!!!

  2. Yes. Please. Can we make it $6.

    Dripping, oozing with sarcasm here.

I doubt anyone is really looking forward to paying more for gas then they absolutely need to.  It's not like gas is a luxury. It's a necessity actually.

  3. yes..it could go that high..happy? no   ready? yes

  4. No not at all its insane

  5. Well... on the plus side I'll be earning Air Miles faster if I keep going to Shell...

  6. Americans are starting to realize the days of the easy motoring utopia are over. Too bad the fabric of everyday life in Amerika is based upon the automobile. What happens when signs go up at gas stations saying "No Gas?"

Mass transit is non-functional or non-existant in 98% of the country.

  7. i only drive about once a month. the rest of the time i walk or ride my bike, so i really dont care, i hope it does get that high soon so other idiots will quite polluting the air and start enjoying their commute.

  8. dude we are not paying $5 a gallon as soon as the national avg. for gas hits $4.15 or so theres going to be riots more people will steal gas, and we will make the government step in, the oil companies have tons of oil in reserve, but they rather get rich and make us poor, how else would you explain them making billions of dollars in profits???

and once the evil keebler elf (bush) leaves office, we get the troops out of Iraq gas will go down slightly, and once we pay back our trillions of dollars in debt gas again will go down

if you think about it bush f***** up the whole world by going to war with Iraq, food is much more expensive because gas is expensive and some foods are being used to produce ethanol, so more people are dieing of hunger

  9. This is obviously quite a main thing to you all over the pond!!! I would be very happy to pay $5 a gallon for petrol!!  Only because it's almost $11 over here in the UK!!!

We passed that $5 milestone many, many years ago and I do remember the furore it caused, now not many people say anything, that's because we know it won't do anything except raise our blood pressures!!!

  10. No...and that is the day I will HAVE to spend an hour and a half each way to use public transit.

I would use public transit now if it could get me to work in a decent amount of time.

  11. Absolutely!................

    NOT!

  12. No way! I wasn't looking forward to paying when gas prices rose to $3.00 a gallon. Now I'm paying $4.00 a gallon. $5.00 is just ridiculous! Oil company's make billions and billions of dollars every year because of us. The government can easily step in and put a price cap on gas and still make billions of dollars but they don't because we have to much p***y's in America to step up to them. Its just like the saying "People shouldn't be afraid of our government, our government should be afraid of people." Sadly we the people of America our afraid of our Government for some reason.
