Are you married? What was your engagement like? Good or Bad I want some stories...

Question

I know there are a lot of people that have been engaged, or even been given a promise ring, what happened and how did he or she give it to you? Was it sweet, or did it make you wanna slap him it was soo dumb?

I recently married June 21 this year, and the engagement was good, the wedding was bad, and the marriage is terrific.

I have been married for eight years, and we were engaged for two years before that.  He actually proposed to me at the Six Flags park in one of those old-time photos.  It was really sweet and I have the picture of him on his knee with the ring.  Total surprise too, which made it even better.

Not married yet but soon, my hubby took me to the place we had our first date, he looked at my and pulled out a brown box and told me that he loved me very much, that he's never felt the way I make him feel, and he could not wait any longer to ask me to be his wife, well then he said well you marry me and I said YES!  So my engagement is was good, and can't wait to say I do.
