Are you more attached to your pets sometimes than to people and why?

Question

I love my cats. I have very little and wish I could do so much more for them. I have not been able to have a child, and I really care about my two cats very much.

I know some people don't like cats or think of a pet as something you don't pay much attention to, but I cannot think that way. Do you ever feel your pets/cats are so much nicer to be around than people? I have heard others in my life say sometimes they would rather be around their pets because they are loving and unconditional.

They don't judge or try to make you do things you don't want to do.  They just love the living daylights out of you!

Pets don't judge you, if you love them they will love you. It's pretty awesome. I love my cat so much.

Yes I am, because I know I can trust my pets. Plus they never have anything bad to say about you. I spend most of my day with my hermit crabs. I love them so much.

i love my dog. she is a malti-Tzu.  7 lbs. beautiful and very loving and smart.  I like being with her.  I live alone and was very depressed before I had her.  I am not as depressed since I got her.  I love my family .  they are rarely available.  the dog is always here so she has top importance in my life.

Yes, I have a few pets that feel like best friends, sometimes it seems like they can love you just as much.

yeah. no matter what you do (scolding, yelling, farting, etc.), they still love you.
