Are you more fertile after a chemical pregnancy?

I feel like I read that somewhere but not sure. I just had one, I didn't have any problem whatsoever conceiving my first child so this got me a little worried. Do I still treat this like a normal period and I should ovulate 14 days later? Thanks for any input!

  1. Yes, I believe you are. My doctor told me that after a miscarriage you're also more fertile.

  2. I had a chemical pregnancy and I got pregnant the very next cycle.  There was still kind of sad that I knew that I had been pregnant and then there it went and then I found out that I was pregnant again. That baby is now 20 months old.

And yes it was just like a normal period for me, a little heavier and a little longer.  They say a lot of women become pregnant and never even know because these chemical pregnancies happen.  Women just think they are having their periods.  If it wasn't for home pregnancy tests that are so senstive, we wouldn't know that we were pregnant so soon.
