I am currently getting no where in life. But in a way, that's a good thing. I'm trying to move forward with my life, and I've chosen a career in the military. I've been waiting for 6 months to get a medical waiver, and it could be any day now, so I have to put everything on hold. If it falls through, I'll begin moving ahead with a different route. I think success is how you personally measure it. Success for me isn't being extremely rich or famous, it's going to be the knowledge that I've spent my life bettering myself and helping people.

Success comes from forcing yourself to delay gratification. Hard work now is what you'll be proud of when looking back. What your excuse is for not doing something doesn't really matter, the fact is that it doesn't get done unless you buckle down.

I'd like to think I am.  When I look back on everything I've done in life, I'm pretty certain I am moving ahead.

How I moved ahead in life is by deciding what it was I wanted to do and going back to school to be able to do so.  I am so proud of myself that I followed through and got a new career. I'm truly happy!  Llife is short... there is no need to be miserable.

Find what it is that you like to do and set your own path to "move ahead".
