Are you not bored of Hennie's constant corrections of our spelling errors?

Who gives a c**p if the word is spelt incorrectly. The reader still knows what it means. Ofcourse, when writing official documents the spelling has to be correct. This is more laid back, or perhaps you do not know how to be laid back...

  1. I have no problem with any user correcting other users its a good thing.

But to use corrections as a way to humiliate other users as "hennie" has, then that is behavior that can only be described as immature.

I couldn't be bothered not the slightest with him.

  2. How does he correct the spelling?

  3. Goeiste Hendrik Frensch aka Hennie but you have a temper on you! s****. is just teasing you, don't get so cross you will blow a coronary! Ag s****. I do not care what other people say, english is not my 1st language and I will write just as I please, i do not do it intentionally. sometimes just a little mistake because I type so fast, other times, I am probably just a bad speller. come on now, this is now really a fight about nonsense!

  4. Hennie has made two mistakes

    1. What and which are not interchangeable, what is general and which is specific, to be used once a general concept has been established.

    e.g.

    a.What is your favourite food?

    b.Pizza!

    a.Which one?

    b.Napoletana!

    2. "No one" is not written with a dash, no-one, as he has so written.

People who live in glass houses .....

  5. I can like to say I am the real Hennie, I am Joppies se dummer bruvver!

  6. I think it´s hilarious that you are so annoyed by this.

  7. I guess that it doesn't matter, so much, how it is spelt, it is what you say that counts.

  8. Yepp he bores me. Especially as he has made some grammar mistakes himself!! Link http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;...

  9. This has been asked by Zim and myself.

I got a Violation and Zims account has now been suspended.

(possibly one of the reasons being his question on this).

Trolls seem to feed on these kind of Q's.

I have learnt to tolerate it, just as I have learnt to tolerate really, really bad spelling and grammar (not saying mines perfect).

So I reckon - take the laid back attitude of ignoring the comments and it'll be fine.

  10. I have not had the pleasure of him correcting my spelling.

  11. He hasn't corrected my spellings but even if he did..i don't get bugged easily.I'm usually the one bugging people!

  12. No it does not bother me. But as a result I do make a point of correcting HIS mistakes.

In that question Hennie, you definitely should have used the word 'which' instead of 'what' .....come on, admit it.

  13. Who the moer is Hennie? He must be very bored.

  14. I could not care less if someone corrects my spelling errors, it has happened before.

What really irritates me is someone who can not construct a sentence without swearing or insulting someone, Hennie your posting here disappoints me, you sound like a complete idiot. I trust it's some kind of a joke !

  15. Hello ALS,

You have received a message from another user!

    From: Hennie

    Subject: Re: age-why?

Message: Because at 26, your spelling and grammar is atrocious! (Very, very bad!)

  16. I do find it rather pathetic.  I suppose he is a schoool teacher, and and exerts himself beyond the callll of duuuty!!

We are a nation with 11 official languages.  So what if it is not all spelt or formulated correctly?  As long as the posting is understoood.  Although there is a spell check for the answers, it is based on american english.  As for the questions, only the headline of the question can be ccchecked for spelling errrorrs.

Hennie, just relax.  Take some time off from corrections!  We do not always expect you to give us a golden or a silver star for our postings!!.

  17. For once, well, its the second time actually, I agree with Ayiza. Bad spelling is not necessarily a trait of a moronic person, Hennie. Bad manners, on the other hand, is.
