Everyday there is something going on, the racist photo, where was Cullen, the Chinese gymnasts, and the girl who sang at the opener. Has controversy like this always been an issue or can you think of an explanation why all this is happening?

  1. I just watch the games, most of the controversies are overblown anyway.

  2. there are always controversy in every olympics. I continue to watch and not let petty events to keep me from doing so. Okay sure, the little girl might have lip sung, and not all of the fireworks might have been real, but who cares, we enjoyed it, and we know china put its best efort forward for us to enjoy. It really is a shame when we let little things like these petty controversies to keep us from the big things and the main focus.

  3. It just irritated me a bit because people make a big fuss out of this. Calling it fake this and that. It has nothing to do with the Olympics sports, more like everyone is pointing fingers at China from day one.

Why don't the media focus more on how athletes say they're enjoying their life there? Because it won't catch people's attention. They will just keep pointing fingers and pointing out little things to make it a big deal until 8/24.

  4. sports are stupid anyway.

  5. There will always be an issue especially now since the olympics are in China. But I'am still watching the olympics for the sports and the excitment and thrill not for the controversy beacuse thats not the important thing going on here.

  6. Well, controversies are something unavoidable. But, lets concentrate on the sporting events.

  7. Hii..well in may case i dont care abt any controversies...i jsut watch when my country is performing...and if the sport/game is interesting....
