  1. My house is almost 40 years older than I am ,but it's in better shape.

  3. These apartments were built in '93, so that'll tell ya.

  4. This house and I were both "born" in 1951...and tho' we're aging relatively well, we could both use some TLC and upgrades right about now...lol!!

  8. I was born 13 years after this house was built. The doctor that delivered me lived in this house.  I'm 73 . . .This house is old but I love it.

  22. my house was built in 1968 and i was born in 1931.so that makes me 37 years older than my house.

  23. It's good to be younger than some things  even if they are buildings. The water supply company replaced the water meter a few months ago and broke the old pipes supply the property. They actually argued with me when I rang them for assistance as the supply had sprung a major leak after being tampered with. Had to speak to the supervisor to provide assistance and  they did come and fix it very promptly. However I still had to call in a private plumber to replace some of the older corroded pipes. One section when renewed puts a stress on the older parts.

    "MY" house is called a "Seaway" house. It was built to house the workers that built the St. Lawrence Seaway which is the gateway from Lake Ontario to St.Lawrence River to the Atlantic Ocean. The technology that they used was amazing.

    Just a bit of History.....many workers that helped build the Gateway, helped build the Twin Towers.......and so much more....
