What would happen if there was a out of a million people only 500 that was given everything they wanted and never denied it no matter what, and you knew that this was how it would be eternally and you would never get access to what ever it was that they had?

How would you respond?

There is no reason as to why they should have everything more than anyone else did, they just got picked randomly out of millions, they got lucky and enjoy this way of living for no reason at all.

What would you say to it?

1) Tell me what you would do if you saw it and knew you couldn't be a part of it ever?

2) Say you was one of them that had it, what would you do then?

  1. Well either way i think it would be bullshit

if i was not "one of the lucky ones" i would obviously be envious, but there's nothing i could do about it o_O

and if i WAS one of them, then life would potentially be so very boring.

To never have to work for something? To get it just because? that would take the fun out of life, there would be no pride beacause the reason you would have everything you wanted would not be of your own doing.

personally, however, i think i would still have fun with it.

i would get things for my friends and family, end war, and give to charities. i recall an episode of idr if it was Goosebumps or Are You Afraid of the Dark but there was a lesson in the show of being careful what you wish for, and for some reason that is one episode that has stuck with me through these many years. i know there are a lot of stories and things that 'teahc' that same lesson, but that's the one that sticks in my  mind. so i would know to think things through before hand than to act on a first thought.

besides, if i wanted to make things harder, or normal, for me, all i would have to do was point out that that's what i WANTED, right? ;)

unless you're speaking solely of material things, then forget that last bit :P

  2. This sounds like hindu beleif of a good person will have a better life the next time and so on.  If you beleive someone has been given more at the start of their life, you beleive in reincarnation.  Why don't you be a good person so you can be reborn as a "lucky" person in your next life? ha, ha
