ex: mayo has to be on top of the cheese

if not do people like this bother you

  3. my mother was like that so  i try not to do that. it is annoying to everyone..... i wonder how many times someone like wiped her hamburger patty on the bottom of their shoe b/4 sending it back out for her hignesses approval????

  4. Only up to a point.  If I order a steak or prime rib, I order it rare. Rare, NOT medium rare.  If they bring it overcooked, I'll send it back. I'm not paying a lot of money for something that isn't cooked right!

  15. No, I'm not that type of person, but they don't bother me as well. Some people like their food prepared a certain way, and that's cool -- unless it's something completely rediculous.

  16. No, I wouldn't even think to ask them to make my food a certain way.  I generally trust that the chef at a restaurant knows what they're doing and I just try to appreciate whatever they make me.

  17. As a teen I worked at subway(the sandwich place) and some people would be like "can you put the mayo/mustard on the bread and spread it with a knife before you put the meat/cheese etc.". That stuff annoyed me...it all goes together in the end anyway...ugh! And some people would even be like "can you put the tomatoes and onions on first and then the lettuce". Puh-lease people...get over it! Yes, they annoy me and no I am not like that!

    when i'm working and people are real picky like that my crew and i make fun of them and mock them because it is SOOOOO annoying!!

    and yes, it bothers me.

    just take your f-in sandwhich and shut up.

  22. I'm not like that...not picky at all. And if I notice this with other people, it may or may not bother me depending on the request. If it's something like, "Hold the onions" or "No tomatoes" then it's no big deal. But if the requests turn into a multi-step process, then I get slightly annoyed. If you're going to be THAT anal retentive about the food, then it's probably better if you just went home and made the food yourself.

    I also sometimes worry when this person is in my party. My mother-in-law and her husband are very high maintenace in restaurants. She always orders the same drink: iced tea at room temperature with no ice, ice water with no ice, and a cup of ice. Then she'll end up mixing all three together. Then the two of them will place their food order but include all sorts of substitutions. They make it so confusing for the server and I always apologize for them because I'm afraid the waitstaff will spit in my food...or do something worse.

  24. I'm picky but also not picky at the same time.. I just choose something I will like, that's easy. I don't really care how they make it, I'm not particular in that way. I just don't like certain foods.

    People like that don't really bother me. However, if they sit there and complain the whole time, I'm sure that would be annoying.

  28. When the menu says "2 eggs any style" I ask for an omellete, and usually they say "we can't do that" so I say "that's false advertising." What do you think?

  29. I'm not one of those people. I suppose they would bother me, if I would be the one serving the food to them, but the customer is always right.
