Are you overwhelmed by The Climate Change Emergency?

Question

It tells me that I need to urgently stop using my (old) van, and try staying home more often or walk, and to reduce the energy I use to keep warm stay, cool and be clean,Shorter showers, even missing every 2nd or 3rd day. Do others find this difficult?

There were so many thunderstorms last week and before.

NOW IT'S SOOO d**n HOT in this house and outside the house.  There was also a flooding out in the midwest.

I have bought a mini for gas reduction, got rid of the SUV. I have always taken shorter showers but I don't use sprinklers anymore. I recycle rain water to water plants. I also recycle all the trash I can. I started a compost pile, but I have stopped doing it because I live in the mountains and it attracts animals.

After awhile you become accustom to living differently.

Do it if you're willing to sacrifice for saving money, but don't do it thinking you're going to save the planet.  The 'man-made climate change emergency' is a man-made hoax, created to give politicians the power to tax you and tell you how to live.

They're not getting that power from me.
