do you hate having to write something out by hand?

Yes, I go weeks not writing.  Everything is done on the computer including writing checks to pay my bills.  I get cramps when I have to write.

Sometimes it helps me organize my thoughts better.  You can't always depend on a keyboard being available, and I can write faster than I type.  I find keyboarding good for making up things as I go along because I can easily delete, change, or correct something if I don't like the way it sounds.  I learned to type on old mechanical typewriters, and I've learned to be gentle on the keys ;).

i write love notes to my wife!i find it relaxing and creative to actually write once in awhile.i have kinda cool handwriting,i can do calligraphy,so its fun.
