Now with food shortage, are you willing to eat abundant, high-protein insects? (Mmm... imagine at least one... make your choice)

  1. frogs yes. slugs nooooooooooooooooooooooo

  2. Depends who "you" are.

Developed countries are causing the food shortage, but have no food shortage themselves.

Due to the rise in oil prices, the obviously limited supply of oil, and its generally bad reputation, business is looking for other sources of fuel -- and the grain-based fuels are a perfect fit for countries that are already producing a surplus of grain.  Perfect, except for the fact that without a surplus of grain, the supply goes down and prices for grain go up.

The food shortage is, as usual, a man-made problem.

    ...

    But, yeah, bugs taste good.

    :)

  3. No, I feel pity for them - even seen an escargot opn the street after the rain, I am putting it in the grace, so not be killed by passing people. So is my heart.

  4. umm...no, I probably wouldn't eat an insect.

  5. No, I don't think I could eat bugs, not even for half a million dollars! If it comes down to life or death, one can not be so sure as to what they are willing to do in a desperate situation.

  6. No thanks, rather starve.

  7. Gee- I don't know... Maggots mixed in with my Stir-Fry might ADD alittle beneficial Protein to my Diet... But crushed, fried fire Ants sprinkled on my Rocky Road Ice Cream...-is NOT going to contribute much to my Ben & Jerry's experience... :)

  8. i don't think i can eat bugs. But who knows.. desperate times call for desperate measures.
