With Georgia headed for NATO membership as stated by Germany and with Russia acting more and more like the Soviet Union, are you ready to have the East vs. West conflict back in play?

  1. Well first there would be no cold war II, if US doesn't provoke it. You seem to be forgetting it was Georgia backed by US that attacked S.O., something every country knows except US.

    Trust me highly unlikely Georgia will get the membership. Ten countries immediately opposed it last time, only Germany has just hinted. The decision in December will be No. Europeans are in no mood to provoke Russia and Americas bidding. They take a completely difference stance, Italian Foreign Minister said, there will be no anti-Moscow coalition.

    There is no need to put defense shield in Poland and provoke Russia, Russia has made it clear it will seek normal relations with Cuba. US must look go after its own interest but no need to step over Russia. The message Russia gave was it will do anything to protect its interests. So no need to advance US imperialism beside Russia.

    Here's what Putin said last year in Munich;

    "What is a unipolar world? It refers to one type of situation, one centre of authority, one centre of force, one centre of decision-making. It is world in which there is one master, one sovereign. This is pernicious ... unacceptable ... impossible."

    It will be China emerging as next superpower not Russia.

    "By declaring the Caucasus, a region that is thousands of miles from the American continent, a sphere of its 'national interest,' the United States made a serious blunder."

    ~ (Mikhail Gorbachev), Washington Post, 12/08/08

  2. I say bring it on. Russia is not the old Soviet Union and the only thing it has going for it is oil and nuclear weapons. This year their oil production began declining. If they choose to get into another arms race with NATO they will become bankrupt in less than a decade.

  3. i dont fear russia,not one bit..

  4. Yes a war of some sort; we are moving towards the War of Ezekiel 38-39 as foretold in the Bible:

    ".....Many Christian scholars see a correspondence between the details of Ezekiel's prophecy and current events concerning Israel and the Middle East. They consider the return of the Jews to Israel, the re-establishment of the state of Israel in 1948, and the ongoing Arab-Israeli conflict as developments which are pointing toward the soon fulfillment of Ezkiel 38-39. More specifically, the anti-Israel rhetoric of the government of Iran (called "Persia" until 1935 and identified in Ezekiel 38:5 as one of the countries that will attack Israel) and the alliance forming between Russia and Iran are also considered by many scholars to match Ezekiel's prophecy...."

  5. yes, BRING ON THOSE n**i RUSKIES.

  6. Hey, I lived through the first cold war, and could care less about another one.  Putin is a putz and has the "Napoleon complex"  And don't forget, look real close at the equipment the Russians are using in Georgia, looks like the same stuff they had back in the 60's, I know because I remember it.

    The Russians for the most part are poor, only a few have made all the wealth since the fall of the Kremlin.  Most Russians just want a decent living and will probably turn on Putin some day (this has happened in the past).

    Besides, we all ready have way too many varieties of vodka in this country now!
