Are you ready for the US-Iran war to begin?

"A British newspaper has reported that the US may be about to launch a blitz against Iran “as the last resort” to block Tehran’s efforts to nuclearise. It says the preparations in the Pentagon are not just war-games but the plan is to actually make the strike. The most likely strategy would involve aerial bombardment by long-distance B-2 bombers, each armed with up to 40,000 pounds of precision weapons, including the latest bunker-busting devices."

    The super star.

    Mark 15. 2-5

    What do you think?

  2. ifv isreal doesnt strike iran first i think the usa and russia will keep the piece with diplomacy. the daily mail or times dont use naked topless page three girls to sell news papers so they use pompous idiotic predictions instead as they do with the financial pages and the weather they never get it right. their horse and dog racing tipsters suck too!! they publish pretentious ly dificult crossword puzzles that only dailytimes reading w a n k e r s can solve too

  3. i would not be surprised you can't let them get away with it and the guy in charge over there is nuts and liable to start using the A bombs and stuff and we can't afford him to mess up the world. i am ready for what ever it takes to keep the world in tact. so be it.

  4. With less than 5 months left in office, what would be the point of attacking Iran?  He shouldn't be worrying about Iran now.  He should be worrying about keeping himself out of jail and all the lawsuits he'll face when he leaves office. If he's actually considering attacking Iran, perhaps he doesn't plan to leave office.  He can't run again.  However, if there were a major terrorist attack before the next election (Washington DC getting nuked), he could declare a State of National Emergency and cancel the next election.  In other words, he'd have to destroy the hub of the federal government in order to cancel the next election and proclaim himself dictator of these United States.  Granted, this is a worst case scenario.  But so was 9/11.

  5. The B2 could create in Iran a "Very large, mysterious underground explosion...." that if carefully placed would likely destroy a significant amount of their nuclear program.

Oh.. yes. We're going to have to take care of them sooner or later, so I vote for sooner.

  6. It it's going to happen it will be because Israel attacks Iran while Bush is still in office. They would have to act now because it is too risky a chance if Obama gets elected.  His approach is tea and cucumber sandwiches.

  7. I don't think that will ever happen. Our military is spread all over the world,we don't have the man power right now. We have the weapons for sure but not the troops.

  8. bu$h has only until jan 19th  to start  a war with Iran.

how can the US think it can attack iran

we cannot even control or beat up little iraq.

the US is not capable of defeating any army not even the vatican or san marino .

  9. This is what happens when you read the British press, you end up asking a question that is meant to stir the conflict, not resolve it.

The Brits are quite good at this, since they have always depended upon the USA to get them out of a jam.

  10. A web site in Pakistan (mind you, a large portion of Pakistan leans heavily towards Taliban if not outright supports them) quotes "a British newspaper".  Wait a minute.  If this were real, why don't they say the name of the newspaper?  The reason they don't give details is... they don't have any.  They made the whole thing up.

The second article that you quote, from the U.S. Navy, says absolutely nothing about invading Iran.  Doesn't even hint about it.

The U.S. has B-2 bombers, but very few of them.  If we were going to attack Iran, we would primarily use B-52 bombers, dropping GPS guided bombs from altitudes so high that they don't even have any fighters that can go that high.  The job of stealth planes is to take out the radar so that the reglar planes can come in without being picked up by the enemy.  I want to say there is a grand total of 13 B-2's.

Edit: The Telegraph is a tabloid - akin to the World Weekly News (not even on par with the National Enquirer).  It features articles about Elvis, Bigfoot, Space Aliens, etc.

  11. scary as h**l but i am ready
