Two wrecks on the same lap on opposite ends of the race trace (P. Menard and R. Gordon) and many more and all these practice miles are not good for the engines.

  1. Yeah, and Jimmie just got done wrecking his BACK UP car. Holy cow there was a lot of stripes and wrecks during that practice.


  2. It depends on WHO does the wrecking and motor blowin'!

  3. I hadn't even thought about the extra stress on the engines. The builders might not have anticipated the racing conditions for Darlington. That could get ugly.

  4. Jimmie's already went splat twice. I look for Wild Thing to win. Junebug will come in a lap down, if he doesn't blow an engine.

  5. Yes and Kyle and Jr will be fun to watch
