  1. People ask questions for both reasons.

GWS is not like any board you've ever seen before. You'll be interested, entertained and extremely frustrated/annoyed all at once.

  2. a little bit of both.

  3. More often than not people ask questions and look for answers that re-inforce their positions. This is apparent when an asker chooses a best answer, that isn't necessarily the best answer, but corresponds the closest to the asker's opinion.

  4. like dr phill says ,'you cant change what you dont acknowledge' ask only questions of which will make you grow, confirming beliefs will turn you into a jackass

  5. Sometimes you get someone looking to sate thier curiosity.

Some will ask a question with a bit of both of both in mind - sometimes surprised by what they get tho.

    Some purely to get affirmation.

Some to try to rival the troll-shark. Hang around a bit more -you'll see em around.

Occassionally You'll get some sniping back and fore too. More so with those of 'stronger' opinions.
